Bengt Amundin Sculpture, 1967

A small abstract wood sculpture by Swedish artist Bengt Amundin (1915-2011), created in 1967. The piece features organic, flowing curves mounted on a travertine base, perfectly exemplifying Amundin's characteristic style of rhythmic compositions and rounded forms. Having studied at both the School of Arts and Crafts in Gothenburg and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Amundin demonstrates his mastery of form and balance in this elegant work.
