Verdigris Uplighter

An Art Deco uplighter, likely of French origin, 1930s. The trumpet-shaped metal shade flares dramatically upward, its exterior finished in a rich verdigris with natural mottling, mimicking the patina of aged bronze. Raised on a black lacquered base with a small brass collar. Rare and characterful, as much sculpture as lamp.

Condition
In good condition with some surface wear to the interior and minor paint loss to the lacquered base, consistent with age and use.

Wiring
Newly rewired with a black, twisted textile cord. Fitted with an E27 socket and Euro Type C plug.
