Elegant pewter vase by the Stockholm firm C.G. Hallberg, crafted in 1934 as confirmed by base markings. This sophisticated spherical form features ornate decorative handles characteristic of the Swedish Grace period. Very likely designed by Sylvia Stave, who began creating pieces for Hallberg while still a student at Konstfack and later on served as the company's artistic director from 1931 to 1939.

Dimensions:
Height: 14 cm (5.5 inches)
Width: 16 cm (6.3 inches)

Condition: Fair vintage condition showing patina throughout and honest wear consistent with age. Minor denting visible on body. Base has slight unevenness but piece stands stable. Handles remain secure.

Markings: Bears the C.G. Hallberg maker's mark and period hallmark "H8" indicating 1929 manufacture.
