A charming Art Deco pewter box with etched geometric bands around the sides, topped with a lid featuring a neoclassical profile in relief on a short wooden stem. Designed by Oscar Antonsson for Athena Ystad, dated 1936.

Oscar Antonsson (1898–1960) was a Swedish art historian, curator, and artist known for his neoclassical style, shaped by his studies of classical art in Italy. He worked across sculpture, etching, and bronze, and designed pewter and bronze objects for Ystad-Metall and later AB Athena Ystadf, which he co-founded in 1936. His public sculptures stand in several Swedish cities, and his work is held in the National Museum and Malmö Museum collections.
