"Coquille" Wall Light, 1940s
"Coquille" Wall Light, 1940s
A wall light crafted in 1940 by the Swedish company ASEA. Known as the "Coquille" model, it features a shell-shaped shade in clear pressed glass with distinctive rippled texture. The scalloped pattern creates beautiful light diffusion when illuminated. Mounted in an aged brass cup holder and fitted with a white cord and inline switch. The design perfectly captures the meeting point between decorative Art Deco influences and streamlined Scandinavian aesthetics.
