A blue-glazed ceramic mask made from earthenware, signed by an unknown Swedish artist and estimated to have been crafted around the 1970s. The mask depicts a stylized human face with strong, detailed features. Its rich, uneven blue glaze, with areas of brownish distress, gives the piece a weathered, almost ancient appearance.

The piece is signed "Majgunn,", but little is known about the artist beyond this signature. The work clearly demonstrates a deep understanding of ceramic as a medium.

While it can be displayed lying flat as a centerpiece on a table or dresser, there is also a hole in the base for those resourceful enough to figure out a wall-mounting solution.
