Cast iron wall plaque by renowned Swedish silversmith, designer, and sculptor Ulla Fogelklou-Skogh (1913–1986). Crafted in the 1960s for the company Ystad Metall, this striking relief features intricate, almost mystical artistry. The piece bears her monogram signing.

Ulla Fogelklou-Skogh was a pioneering Swedish artist who achieved international acclaim in the 1930s. Her distinctive work features intricate designs with mythological and symbolic motifs. Born in Gothenburg in 1913, Fogelklou-Skogh studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Stockholm before establishing herself as a master craftsperson. Her innovative creations in silver, cast iron, bronze, glass, and textiles established her as a central figure in defining the aesthetic and cultural identity of Swedish decorative arts during the golden age of Swedish Modernism. Her pieces, often inspired by Nordic folklore and natural forms, were exhibited at prestigious venues worldwide and helped elevate Swedish design on the international stage during the mid-20th century.
