A brutalist wall sculpture / candle sconce designed by Swedish artist, ceramicist and designer Lillemor Peterson (b. 1934). Made by hand in steel plate, signed with Peterson's monogram. 1960s / 70s.
• Condition: In excellent vintage condition. Free from any substantial wear.

Siv Lillemor Andrén-Petersson, a ceramic artist and sculptor, trained as a ceramicist at the School of Design and Crafts (HDK) in Gothenburg from 1951 to 1956, and at the Valand Academy of Fine Arts in 1957. After her studies, she spent a few years in Spain. Following that, she had her own studio in Gothenburg from 1960 to 1965, and since then, she has lived and worked in Ödsmål. She worked as a designer at Rörstrand's porcelain factory and served as a professor in the Department of Ceramics and Glass at Konstfack in Stockholm from 1994 to 2000.
