French Art Deco Torchière Lamp

A French urn-formed "Torchière" table lamp, produced in the 1930s. Made of aluminium that has oxidized with time and left behind a beautiful patina, but can be polished to achieve a glossy finish. Would originally been placed as a centrepiece in a hallway, a stairway or on a table. A superb piece showing both great craftsmanship and design.

• Condition: Despite presence of wear such as small scratches here and there, the lamp is in overall great vintage condition.

• Wiring: Newly rewired with wisted white textile cord and EU-plug. Standard European 230 watt socket.
