Centerpiece Bowl

A substantial Art Deco pewter bowl, crafted in 1931 as confirmed by base markings. Raised on a distinctive pedestal base with turned column supports. Small applied classical motifs decorate the sides. Good weight and presence, ideal as a centerpiece for a table or console, shown here styled with trailing greenery, but equally suited to fruit, flowers, or displayed on its own.

Made by the rather unknown CAM (C A Mattinsson Aktiebolag), Stockholm.

Good condition, with a charming patina and light surface wear consistent with age, including light scratches and small marks
