Vintage Wooden Rising Sun

Wonderful and completely unique decorative element depicting a rising sun. Handmade and hand-painted, in solid wood. Made by an amateur artist in the 1970s, Sweden. Unsigned, but was acquired from the artists estate.

It is not intended to be a shelf, even though it can be used as one by placing small objects such as miniature pottery on the ledge.
