'Profil' Candlesticks

A pair of brass candlesticks from the "Profil" series by silversmith and designer Pierre Forssell (1925–2004), produced by Skultuna Messingsbruk. Their angular, faceted bases are typical of Forssell's take on mid-century metalware, favoring geometric form and clean lines.

Produced in the 1960s, both candlesticks carry the Skultuna maker's mark, model no. 70, and Forssell's signature.

Please note that these candlesticks are designed to hold slender candles with a diameter of approx. 1.5 cm (0.6").

Condition
Good vintage condition, with a handsome patina and minor surface wear consistent with age. Can be polished to a high shine if desired.
