Pewter Vase

Elegant pewter vase by the Stockholm firm C.G. Hallberg, crafted in 1929 as confirmed by base markings. This sophisticated spherical form features ornate decorative handles characteristic of the Swedish Grace period. Very likely designed by Sylvia Stave, who began creating pieces for Hallberg while still a student at Konstfack and later on served as the company's artistic director from 1931 to 1939.
