Pewter Table Lamp

A late Art Deco table lamp in pewter, produced in 1934 by GAB (Guldsmedsaktiebolaget). The fluted column rises from an abstractly engraved ball, set on a stepped square base. It is accompanied by patinated brass fittings and a new, white linen lamp shade.

Condition
In good condition consistent with age, with some minor surface wear including a few light scratches.

Wiring
Newly rewired with a white, twisted textile cord. Fitted with an E27 socket and Euro Type C plug.

Markings
Impressed with the GAB maker’s mark, model number and year stamp ’H8’, for 1934.
