About the Maker
Founded in Stockholm in 1860, C.G. Hallberg grew into one of Sweden's great silver houses, with branches across the country and, for a time, a foothold in Paris. Its most celebrated era arrived with Sylvia Stave, who joined as a Konstfack student and rose to become artistic director from 1931 to 1939, bringing a modernist eye that would come to define the firm's most sought-after pieces.
