• More on the artist
Edvin Ollers (1888–1959) was a Swedish artist and designer whose work spanned multiple disciplines—glass, pewter, silver, wood, ceramics, and oil painting. Moving fluidly between fine and decorative arts, he designed glassware for Kosta, Reijmyre, and other major Swedish glassworks, while also creating refined metalwork in pewter and silver. His designs were rooted in Scandinavian craft heritage—simple, elegant forms meant for daily use yet elevated by artistic sensitivity. A lifelong art teacher and painter, Ollers exhibited throughout Stockholm in the early 20th century. His work resides in Sweden's leading museums, a testament to his quiet but enduring influence on functional beauty.
