Alabaster Table Lamp

A Danish Art Deco table lamp in warm, richly veined alabaster, produced in the 1930s by the little-known Danish English Alabaster Industry Ltd. The base is turned in a generous baluster form, its creamy white stone dramatically streaked with ox-red and rust, finished with darkly patinated brass fittings. Paired with a new white linen shade and newly rewired with an off-white linen textile cord. As much a sculptural object as a source of light.

Condition
Good vintage condition, with very minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
