During the early 20th century Böhlmarks became one of Scandinavia's most respected lighting manufacturers, collaborating with leading architects and designers of the day including Gunnar Asplund and Harald Notini. Their pieces, ranging from chandeliers and pendants to wall sconces, were known for combining superior craftsmanship with the prevailing design currents of the time, from Art Nouveau through Swedish Grace and into Scandinavian Modern.
